Open your event's Tickets step and click Add Ticket Tier. Each tier is a separate ticket type, such as Early Bird or VIP, with its own price, quantity and sale times.
Create a tier
- Click Events, then click your event's name.
- Click Tickets.
- Click Add Ticket Tier.
- Fill in the settings (see below).
- Click Add Ticket Tier.
Tier settings
- Ticket Tier Name: what buyers see, for example "Early Bird".
- Quantity: how many tickets are for sale in this tier.
- Capacity Per Ticket: how many people one ticket admits. It's 1 by default, because one ticket normally lets one person in. Use a higher number for a ticket that admits a group, such as a family pass for 4. Each ticket sold uses up this much of your session's Max Capacity. For group prices, individual tickets usually work better. See How do I offer a group discount?.
- Ticket Price: the price before the booking fee.
- Booking Fee: the fee added on top. A recommended amount appears under the field once you've entered a price.
- Ticket Pricing Options:
- Cheapest available ticket pool: tiers sell cheapest first. When one sells out, the next opens. This is the default.
- Fixed price listing: this tier is always available until it sells out or sales end.
- Ticket Sale Start and Start Time: when sales open. Defaults to now.
- Sale End Date Mode: when sales close. See How do I set when a ticket tier goes on and off sale?.
Advanced Settings
- Min Purchase Qty and Max Purchase Qty: the fewest and most of this tier a buyer can choose in one order. Min defaults to 0, which means buyers don't have to buy this tier. Max defaults to 10.
- Description: extra details buyers see, such as what's included.
- Ticket Template Override Image (2480 X 3508px): a ticket design for this tier only.
- Enable ticket name changes: lets buyers change the name on their ticket. On by default.
- Enable ticket resale: lets buyers resell their ticket. On by default.
- Enable refund requests: lets buyers ask for a refund. Off by default.
- Sold out: shows the tier as sold out.
- Hide ticket tier: hides the tier from your event page.
Notes
- Leave Min Purchase Qty at 0 when you have several tiers or add-ons, so buyers can choose only the ones they want. Raise it only if every order must include this tier.
- Capacity and quantity are different. Quantity is how many tickets you sell. Capacity is how many people they let in. A tier of 10 tickets with a Capacity Per Ticket of 4 can admit 40 people.
- Your session's Max Capacity always wins. Sales stop when it's reached, even if tiers still have tickets. See Creating an event, step 1: Details.
- Name tiers clearly. Buyers decide quickly.
Events with more than one session
New tiers are shared by all your sessions. To give a session its own tiers or prices, see How do I set up different tickets for each session?.
