Each ticket tier has its own sale start and end. Sales start from the moment you create the tier, and end when the event ends, unless you change them.
Set when sales start
- Click Events, click your event's name, then click Tickets.
- Click the tier's name.
- Set the Ticket Sale Start date and Start Time.
- Click Save.
Set when sales end
Choose a Sale End Date Mode:
- Relative: sales end a set time before the session ends. Enter the Days, Hours and Minutes under Stop sales before event/session ends. Leave them at 0 to sell right up until the end. This is the default.
- Fixed: sales end at a specific date and time you choose.
Then click Save.
When a tier stops selling
A tier closes on its own when its sale end is reached, or when it sells out.
Notes
- Sale times use your event's timezone.
- Early bird tiers: use Relative and set each one to end a number of days before the event, for example 28, 21 and 14 days. Relative times work for every session, which is ideal for recurring events.
- Door prices: if your price goes up at the door, end your presale tier and start your door-price tier online at the same moment. Use Fixed or Relative times on both so there's no gap or overlap.
- Selling at the door: if you have internet at your entry, keep online sales open during the event.
