The event organiser decides what happens when an event is cancelled, postponed or moved. They'll let ticket holders know by email, usually with the next steps for refunds or new dates.
Triniq is the ticketing platform the organiser uses. The organiser runs the event, receives the ticket money and sets the refund policy.
If the event is postponed or moved
- Your ticket normally stays valid for the new date or venue. You don't need to do anything.
- Can't make the new date? Check the organiser's email for your options. You can also sell your ticket or change the name on it. See How do I sell or transfer my ticket?.
- If the organiser offers refunds for the change, act quickly. Many organisers only accept refund requests for a limited time after a change, and decline them after that. Follow their instructions or submit a support request. It only takes a quick message.
If the event is cancelled
- Watch your email, including spam, for the organiser's announcement.
- If the organiser is refunding tickets, the refund goes back to the card or account you paid with. You don't need to send your bank details unless we ask you to.
- Refund timing depends on the organiser and your bank. See When will I get my refund or resale money?.
Who to contact
- About the event, new dates or the organiser's plans: contact the organiser through their website or social media.
- About your tickets, your order or a refund that hasn't arrived: submit a support request.
Notes
- Keep your ticket until the organiser confirms what's happening. You may need it for the new date.
