Open the event page and click BUY TICKETS. Choose your tickets, add your details (and a name for each ticket, if asked), then pay. Your tickets are emailed to you and saved in My Tickets.

Buy your tickets

  1. Open the event page. Use the link from the organiser, or find the event on https://triniq.com.
  2. Click BUY TICKETS.
  3. If the event runs on more than one date, choose a date, then click the session you want.
  4. Choose how many of each ticket you want. Add any add-ons, like parking, in the same way.
  5. Have a coupon code? Click Have coupon code?, enter it and click APPLY. See How do I use a coupon code?.
  6. Click CHECKOUT.
  7. Log in, or fill in your details to check out as a guest: First name, Last name, Contact phone, Email and Confirm email. Guests can tick Create a Triniq Ticketing account and set a password at the same time.
  8. Choose your Payment method.
  9. Tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then click PROCEED.
  10. If asked, enter the first and last name of the person using each ticket, as it appears on their photo ID.
  11. Click TO PAYMENT.
  12. Enter your card details and click PAY.

For free tickets there's no payment step. Click FINISH instead.

After you pay

  • You'll see your order confirmation, with DOWNLOAD TICKETS. Some events ask a few extra questions here.
  • Your tickets are emailed to you.
  • Your tickets are also in My Tickets whenever you log in. See Where are my tickets and how do I download them?.

Your tickets are held while you check out

A timer at the top shows how long your tickets are held. If it runs out, the tickets go back on sale and you'll need to start again.

Changed your plans later?

You can usually change the name on your ticket or sell it on resale. Most events allow both, but the organiser decides whether to allow them for their event. See How do I change the name on my ticket? and How do I sell or transfer my ticket?.

Notes

  • Ticket prices are shown with the booking fee, for example "A$35 + A$3 booking fee".
  • Buying for friends? If the event asks for a name on each ticket, put each person's name on their own ticket, as it appears on their photo ID. Otherwise your name is printed on all the tickets. Then send each person their ticket.
  • The marketing checkbox is optional. Untick it if you don't want updates from the organiser.
  • Seated event? You'll pick your seats on a seat map first. See How do I choose my seats?.
  • You don't need an account to buy. Your tickets are linked to the email you enter, so double-check it. Sign up later with that email and they'll appear in My Tickets. See How do I log in or reset my password?.
  • Paying with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay or Zip? See How can I pay, and what fees will I see?.
