Once your Meta integration is connected, add purchase columns to your Meta Ads Manager reports. You'll see how many tickets each ad sold and how much revenue it brought in.

Set it up

  1. Connect your Meta integration. See How do I connect Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tracking?.
  2. In Meta Ads Manager, open each ad and check your pixel is selected under website events. Meta sometimes unticks it, for example when you duplicate an ad. If it's unticked, you won't get conversion data for that ad.
  3. In your Ads Manager reports, add the purchase and purchase value columns.
  4. Save the column layout so it's ready next time.

Notes

  • Give your ads 7 to 14 days to gather enough data before judging them.
  • Sales reach Meta through both the pixel and the Conversions API, so you see more of your real sales.
  • Compare Meta's figures with your own reports. Small differences are normal.
  • Why Meta's numbers differ from ours: each platform credits sales to ads and visits in its own way, called attribution. Our reports use single-click attribution: each sale is credited to one click, the one that first brought the buyer to your event page. Meta uses its own rules and time windows, so its figures can be higher or lower than ours. See How do I see where my ticket buyers came from?.
  • For a view of all your traffic, not only Meta, see How do I see where my ticket buyers came from?.
