To target your past customers in your Facebook Ads then you must first download your past customer data for each of your events and upload it as custom audiences to Facebook. Here is how you do that.


1.  Navigate to Events > All Events via the Triniq admin menu.


2.  Check the box to select the event you want to download the customer data for.


3.  Use the dropdown at the bottom of the page to select Export Guestlist CSV.


4.  Click the go button to download the data.


5.  Head to your Facebook Ads Manager and use the 3 bar menu on the top left of the screen to search the submenu for Audiences (it may be under the see all tools link).


6.  On the Audiences page make sure the correct account is set in the top left dropdown and then click the Create Audience button and select Custom Audience.


7.  When the popup loads click the 'Customer File' option and then the 'Add Customers from your own file or copy any paste data' option.


8.  From here you can either download Facebook's template or you can copy the emails directly into paste box of the audience creator.


9.  Once happy click next and follow the prompts until done.


To use the custom audiences in your targetting just search for the Custom Audience name in the Custom Audience targeting during adset creation.


IMPORTANT NOTE: Especially with larger amounts of data, it can take a few hours to process the data into an audience. Facebook will include anyone who has a Facebook user account that contains the same personal data that you upload into the audience. The best data to use is emails and international phone numbers combined.
