To edit an exisiting ticket tier from one of your events navigate to Events > Manage Ticket Tiers

Once the Manage Ticket Tiers page loads, click the ticket tier link that you are wanting to change.

Note: If you plan to change the price of a ticket you have already started to make sales for then we recommend you create a new ticket tier instead.

When the next page loads there will be a series of fields you need to fill out.

Here are the details on each of the fields and how to use them:

Event - This dropdown lets you select the event that the ticket tier is associated with. Use extra to care to select the correct event with this option.

Title - The ticket tier name is the title of this ticket or phase. Common suggestions for normal event tickets are 1st release, early bird tickets, 1st phase tickets. Feel free to think outside the box to improve your brand's flavour!

Price - Ticket tier prices is the price excluding booking fees that you wish to charge customers.

Booking Fee - Booking fees are the service fees for making a sale on the Triniq platform. Note that if you set the booking fee to zero then Triniq will still charge the agreed rate to your business instead of the customer. The booking fee can be any amount you determine.

Currency - A currency format must be set for every event ticket tier, usually the best currency to use is the country's currency where you are holding the event. If you require more currencies then please contact our support and we will enable the currency you need for your event.

Starts At - The start of the ticket tier is not the start date of your event, it is the date and time you want tickets to go on sale for this ticket tier.

Ends At - The end of the ticket tier is not the end date of your event, it is the date and time you want tickets to finish being on sale for this ticket tier.

Allocation - Ticket tier Allocation is the number of tickets you want to sell in this ticket price tier. Once the quantity has all been sold or the tier end date has expired then tickets will be charged as per the next price in the sort order. If there are no tiers left then the event sales will be disabled for customers so please ensure you set this field and the dates correctly.

Order - The tier sort order is the ticket tier order that tickets are sold in, it's best practice to put your cheapest tickets as the lowest sort order and your most expensive ticket as the highest sort order. If you have optional extras enabled, we recommend you make the optional extra sort order higher than your most expensive event entry ticket tier. You can check the sort order by looking at the bottom of your event sales page under the ticket pricing heading.

Is Sold Out - Turn on the sold out tier setting if you would like to force this ticket tier to be sold out on the event sales page. If tickets reach the tier end date or quantity then this will turn on automatically.

Is Hidden - Turn on the hidden tier setting if you would like to have a ticket tier that doesn't display on the event page. This is ideal for Ambassador tickets that are separate to normal tickets or for if you generally want to hide a tier. This is also a great option to check if you are creating a free complimentary tickets tier for artists, crew and partners.

Optional Extra - Turn on the optional extra tier setting if you would like to have addon products or services that you would like to sell in addition to your tickets. This is ideal for if you are selling bus tickets, accommodation services, merchandise, vehicle passes and more. A customer can also buy only an optional extra/addon without a ticket if they need to.

Ticket Template Image - The event ticket tier template image is the background image that you would like to use for your barcoded etickets. We recommend you use a light colours or white background template so that customers do not waste too much ink whilst printing. You must leave a space for the barcode. For a Adobe Photoshop template file please contact your account manager.

Important Note: You must include your terms and conditions of sale in text on the ticket template image. Our template has a basic set of terms, however, most events have their own terms and conditions of sale that needs to be included in the Ticket Template Image.
