It's not recommended to delete any events, the only instance where deleting events makes sense is if it was a test event that has no real data.
WARNING: Once you delete an event you will delete all data associated to that event, this data cannot be recovered. Use carefully at own risk.
Not many accounts have event deletions permissions, however, if you have event deletion capabilities then you can use the following steps to delete an event:
1. Navigate in the admin menu to Events > All Events
2. Click the event name that you are wanting to delete.
3. Once the edit screen loads, the red delete button will be in the bottom right corner of the page.
4. After you click Delete, you will be asked to confirm the deletion.
