It's essential to keep your brand looking crisp and polished, Triniq has a built comprehensive set of custom branding tools for events and tickets. Whilst we won't list them all in this article, we will provide the graphics details and specifications that you will need to give to your graphic designer and/or marketing team.

Firstly, to compress your images to keep your sales pages loading super fast, please process your images through a high-quality image compression app such as https://shortpixel.com/online-image-compression

FLB - Facebook Share Linkbox Image
Placement: The share link display when the link is shared on Facebook.
Format: jpg or png
File Size: 250kb recommended
Dimensions: 1200 x 628 px
Notes: Can contain logos and text, should contain a background or at bare minimum a background gradient or colour.

HPT - Home Page Thumbnail
Placement: The Triniq home page event thumbnail asset.
Format: jpg or png
File Size: 250kb max
Dimensions: 350 x 250 px
Notes: Can contain logos and text, should contain a background or at bare minimum a background gradient or colour.

TEB - Event Background
Placement: The single event page, this asset is the main background that you see when the individual event sales pages load. Definitely, make good use of this space with professional art.
Format: jpg or png
File Size: 500kb max
Dimensions: 1920 x 1200 px
Notes: It's recommended that you do not use text in this image, text in this image can cause the mobile experience to look not as good as it could be. The safest and best method is to not use text in the background and leave the text to be in the event logo (TEL) asset.

TEL - Event Logo
Placement: The single event page, this asset is the centered logo that is displayed in front of the event background (TEB) asset.
Format: png with transparency
File Size: 200kb max
Dimensions: 1000 x 600 px max (smaller sizes are accepted and height can be larger or smaller)
Notes: Since this is a foreground layer of the sales page design, it's best practice to use logos and text on a transparent background. Unless it works with your design, it's recommended to keep the background transparent and to export it as a png.

TTT - Ticket Template
Placement: This is the template that each eticket uses, it's not visible anywhere on the website except for admins.
Format: jpg
File Size: 1mb Max (around 500kb is standard).
Dimensions: 210 x 297 mm (A4 Portrait)
Notes: There are 2-3 preset areas that you must ensure your design doesn't encroach, we highly recommend you base your design from our template, but modify as much as you need. The preset areas for the QR code, customer name and ticket number cannot be changed, excluding those minor limitations, you can customise your ticket as much as it suits your brand.

Our ticket template includes a rough set of terms and conditions of sale, however, that may not suit your circumstances so please ensure you modify them as needed or better yet replace them with your own event's terms & conditions. This is important that you ensure this has been reviewed before the launch of ticket sales.

When using the ticket template inside Adobe Photoshop, please use the "Fixed Template Elements" group layer as a guide to where the QR code and customer information will automatically be printed on the ticket, the rest of the design is free for you to do as you please. When exporting the final ticket template file it needs to have the "Fixed Template Elements" group layer hidden. If using dark background designs then please ensure you have a white opaque box around your info because the fonts always print black.

Final ticket template design thought: etickets are environmentally friendly especially when guests are encouraged to use their phones to display tickets. A quick reminder that etickets are not environmentally friendly when they have very dark backgrounds because it wastes so much ink when customers do print them, it also costs the customer a lot in ink when heavy backgrounds are printed over and over again. Do your guests a favour, keep it creative and artistic to represent your brand professionally but whilst also being light and easy on the ink.
